Who do you trust more than Pilots?

Pilots for 9/11 Truth is an organization of aviation professionals and pilots throughout the globe that have gathered together for one purpose. They are committed to seeking the truth surrounding the events of the 11th of September 2001. Their main focus concentrates on the four flights, maneuvers performed and the reported pilots. They don't offer theory or point blame, but are focused on determining the truth of that fateful day since the United States Government doesn't seem to be very forthcoming with answers. Along with with the Scholars, Veterans and Architects & Engineers for Truth along side family members of the victims -- family members of soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice -- including the many Ground Zero workers who are now ill or have passed away, they are also asking for a new independent investigation into the events of 9/11. Like Shoes4Idustry, they don't accept the 9/11 Commission report as a satisfactory explanation for the sacrifice every American has made and continues to make -- some more than others.

What's Wrong with the War in Iraq?

Here's the answer, from General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander of Europe, who retired as one of the nation's most highly decorated military officers.
During his 34-year career in the U.S. Army, he served in Vietnam, Latin America and ultimately was named NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, where he led a unified force to victory in NATO's first major combat action. Clark commanded all NATO forces to success in the important Kosovo conflict, saving 1.5 million Albanians from ethnic cleansing without a single Allied casualty.

Bottom line: Clark is the voice of experience and he makes it clear that Bush's incompetence is why the war in Iraq is a disaster.

Supporting the Troops, Bush Style, Part Deux

This is almost too horrific to post, but people should know that when this administration says "support the troops" it's really saying "screw the troops." From the Boston Globe:

"The general public believes that when a vet comes home, he's well taken care of," [Jack]Downing said. "That's a horrible misunderstanding."

Jack Downing runs a homeless shelter in Boston where a number of homeless vets from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are staying. The problem is huge, with experts estimating hundreds of thousands vets requiring -- but not getting -- the care they need to recover.

As the wars continue, the number of homeless veterans is "going to radically swell," Downing said. Downing and others who work with homeless veterans said the government is not prepared to assist those troops; a recent report by the Government Accountability Office said there are some 200,000 homeless veterans and only 15,000 beds for them at shelters. At least 9,600 more beds are needed, the report said. No government agency provides permanent housing for homeless veterans...

No wonder Bush's approval ratings are at an all-time low. Only a monster would approve of what this sociopath is doing.

Press for the Truth...

Out of the grieving thousands left behind on September 11th, a small group of activist families emerged to demand answers. "Supporting" the Troops, Bush Style!

Thanks to the incredible success of the Iraq war, recruitments are down, and deaths are up. But hey, no problem, says the Washington Post, because the commanders have found a new source of manpower -- the insurgents!!

Equipped with arms from the U.S. and a generous supply of cash, the former Sunni insurgents are joining American troops in whatever it is we're doing over there. The bottom line: we are arming and financing Sunnis with what the Post calls "murky allegiances and shady pasts. " How shady? Many of them have ties to "al Qaida in Iraq," one of the administrations's favorite fear-mongering names.

U.S. generals said they vet the backgrounds of every recruit, but ground commanders here said that is all but an impossible task.

"Officially, we will not deal with those who have American blood on their hands," said[Lt. Col. Robert] Balcavage, 42. "But how do you know? You don't. There's a degree of risk involved. A lot of it is gut instinct. That's what I'm going on. They didn't teach me how to do this at West Point."
